Care Cuts provides free haircuts to individuals experiencing:
- Homelessness or housing instability
- Financial hardship
- Mental health or substance use recovery challenges
- Veterans and others navigating life transitions
How it works (simple, human, no hoops):

- You’ll connect directly with Care Cuts
- We coordinate with trusted community partners to locate a barber in your area
- A Care Cuts team member meets you and supports you through the process
- You get a haircut. Dignity restored. Confidence rebooted.
About Care Cuts
Restoring dignity and confidence to Hoosiers in need through community services.
At Care Cuts, Inc., we believe that dignity is a basic human right — not a luxury. A simple haircut can spark confidence, open doors to opportunity, and remind someone that they still matter.
Founded by Michael Carroll, a U.S. Air Force veteran and community advocate, Care Cuts began with a simple question: “What if a haircut could help someone feel human again?” From that idea grew a mission to restore dignity and confidence to Hoosiers experiencing homelessness, poverty, or personal hardship — one cut at a time.
